2013 is almost over and it’s time for marketers to start focusing on what they will do in 2014 – hard to believe (today I am working on a 2014 client marketing budget.
Recently read an article on Business 2 Community that looked at some brand trends for next year. The article makes some valid points. I think it’s important to note that the idea of consumers being “prosumers” (i.e. professional consumers) as pointed out in by Susan Gunelius in a Forbes magazine article several years ago is key – customers expect more. In addition, customization and personalization are trends that are here to stay, and optimizing marketing for mobile platforms will be key to reaching customers in the future.
