Pictures really are worth more than a thousand words!

In today’s increasingly competitive online world, it’s hard to gain the attention of your clients and prospects.   Pictures are one way you can capture the attention of your audience.   Research has shown time and again that posts on social media with photos outperform posts with no visuals at all.  Photos on Facebook generate 53% more likes than the average post; Instagram (which is all about visuals!) is the fastest-growing social media platform today.

In this article, istock suggests four tips to communicate visually with your audience on social media and choose the right “swipe-stopping” images:

  • Leave a little something to your audience’s imagination
  • Use Pinterest and Instagram
  • Manage your social networks so that they are well integrated, but not repetitive
  • Use your imagination and don’t be afraid to show your brand’s “silly side” from time to time
